We are always needing more volunteers. We do not necessarily need a long term commitment. It may be only half an hour a week or offering occasional transport services.Petrol expenses are reimbursed. If you would like to volunteer your help...please ring  01803 844566 and leave a message with reception for Caroline.

TRANSPORT
Transport for visits to the surgery, clinics etc. for hospital appointments and also for visits to sick relatives in hospitals or nursing homes. Small donations towards petrol expenses are welcome.

SHOPPING
We will collect prescriptions and shopping for the house-bound. We will also escort clients who wish to do their own shopping.

FRIENDLY VISITS
Cherryaiders volunteers will make regular visits to people living alone to chat, make cups of tea or just listen! Our volunteers will also sit with patients to allow their carers to have a short break.

BENEFIT FORMS
We offer assistance with the completion of Disability Living Allowance and Attendance Allowance claim forms.
